“It was a beautiful day at school because it was the celebration of Pongal. My friends did the invocation song for the program and few of them spoke about the importance of celebrating this festival. There was also a performance by the pre-school kids with sugarcanes. We had sugarcanes and peanuts and the hall was decorated with rangoli, sugarcanes and a pot of Pongal. After the celebration there were greetings made in different languages where this festival is celebrated” - Krupa Angel – 9th Gr

The children of 7th and 8th Grade have been learning theatre from a group of independent theatre artists. They have been conducting workshops every Saturday with skills in different forms of acting. This enables them to transform into socially sensitive and sensible individuals. It has developed the confidence and motivated the children to understand the various aspects of society and how theatre could play an important role in understanding social problems around them. “Working with the kids

The high school children participated at the Thaluk level quiz, theatre, essay writing and collage making competition at Malleshwaram girls junior college. Few of them were selected for the district level competition at Hebbal Government School. We are proud to share that our children bagged the 3rd place in theatre and 2nd place in essay writing in the presence of Governor of Karnataka and the Election Commissioners of Karnatatka at Town Hall Bangalore.
